Creaky Oaks is a personal project unlike any of my other work. While I usually work in vibrant color, the atmosphere of this project called for dramatic muted tones. This piece is based off of a personal story in the mystery thriller genre.

I had a fairly clear vision of where I wanted this piece to go from the start. Since I knew I wanted it to be a book cover I wanted to design a wrap around illustration for the cover.
